For kids, right at the same Gondola Base is the headquarters of Gondola Snowsports, making it easy for parents to drop their children off in the morning as they make their way up the mountain for more advanced terrain. Once you are finished on the slopes for the day, it is an easy walk down the hill to the restaurants and bars in Hirafu Village below, to get back you just need to get on the free village shuttle which will whisk you back up the hill.
